Privacy policy

Worldish AB (hereinafter “We”) will process personal data about you as part of your use of our services and in connection with visits to healthcare professional. We believe that privacy is important and comply with applicable data protection laws to safeguard your privacy. This privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") is intended to inform you about our processing of your personal data and about what rights you have. Your personal data is handled in accordance with the EU's General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and the Patient Data Act within the framework of the Service.

2. Health Professionals

Worldish AB offers the Service of removing the language barrier, as when you book an appointment with a registered "Healthcare Professional" with a ‘Language barrier’ you will be translated to the Healthcare professional through our pre-installed app on the healthcare professional’s device. When you use our Service and provide your information regarding symptoms via some of the preset questionnaire, we will disclose this information to the respective Healthcare Professional in the language they opted through our app so that they will be able to provide you with care.

3. Personal data

3.1 Personal data processed

Personal information refers to information that can be attributed to you as a person. We may process the following personal data that can be attributed to you:

  • Information relating to your health ("Health data") that you provide us with. As a service to translate, we will never share Health Data with a nonmedical third party.
  • User behaviour including digital behaviour (for example, behaviour within the application) ("Digital Behaviour").
  • Technical data (e.g. device ID, IP address) ("Technical Data").

Apart from the points mentioned, Worldish AB does not process and store any private user information (eg. Name, Date of birth, Social security number, Contact information, etc.)

3.2 Health data

When using our Service, which includes your meeting with a registered Healthcare Professional, you may share personal information regarding your past and present physical and mental health. This information may include, but is not limited to, information that you are suffering from a disease, your medical history or your physiological or biomedical condition ("Health Data"). Health data that is particularly attributable to you can also be provided by the Healthcare Professional you come in contact with when you use our service. The fact that the Healthcare Professional provides information is part of their obligation towards you as a patient.

We do not share Health Data with third parties outside our service, The Healthcare Professional can access the summary of the information shared by you.

3.3 Purpose and legal basis of the treatment

The purpose of the processing and the legal basis for the processing of the respective categories of personal data are as follows:

  • We process Health Data on the basis of a legal obligation and that the treatment is necessary for reasons related to preventive health care, administration of health care services, etc. This includes that Healthcare Professional can access the summary for medical records.
  • We treat Digital Behaviour on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the Service, understanding and analysing user’s behaviour and in improving the user experience.
  • We process Technical Data on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding users and for marketing purposes.
  • We also process your data in a De-identified (anonymised) form for research purposes.

4. How long do we store your personal information?

We only process your personal data as long as it is necessary for the Healthcare Professional to meet their purpose of maintaining medical records, or any other obligation they expected to fulfil by the law and their employer. The healthcare professional can mail the summary of the information shared to himself. This means that the data is stored by us as long as it is necessary in order to be able to provide good healthcare or otherwise be able to provide the Services, or in order to fulfil the legal obligations applicable to us. The Healthcare Professional has an obligation to store medical records connected to healthcare meetings with you for a specific period of time.

We otherwise have routines for how we store or anonymize personal data in order to regularly ensure that your personal data is always adequate and relevant for our continued provision of the Services.

Your Data is erased or de-identified from the app, as when the healthcare professional is satisfied that he has the summary of the information shared. We ensure not to store the data for any other propose. The healthcare Professional is responsible for any data breach on their part, as the summary of the information shared will not be stored by us in any means after the healthcare provider has obtained it from the app and closed it on their device.

All information that is no longer needed for the performance and development of the Services, or quality assurance, is anonymized, or erased automatically. It will not affect the Healthcare Provider’s obligation to keep medical records, or to process your personal data in accordance with applicable law.

5. Transfer to third parties

All information about your medical consultations in the Service is covered by healthcare confidentiality in accordance with applicable law. The healthcare professional who accessed your data via the app is responsible to provide it for medical records, healthcare concerns or to his legal obligations, Worldish AB is in no way responsible to the data used by the healthcare professional. In very rare cases, Worldish AB may be required by an authority to disclose all or part of your medical record, if it follows from an official decision or law, but otherwise no outside party can access information about you, your health condition or what has emerged in in connection with the medical consultations.

We take reasonable technical, organizational and legal security measures in accordance with applicable data protection legislation to ensure that your personal data is handled securely.

6. Your rights

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data relating to processing on the basis of our legitimate interest. These can be the duration of the data available to the Healthcare professional, type of data processed, etc.

If you have any complaints regarding Worldish’s processing of your personal data, you have the right to submit complaints to us at mail@worldish.se. We would also like to inform you that you have the right to file a complaint with the Swedish Data Protection Authority, or any other relevant supervisory authority, should you believe that the processing of your personal data is incorrect or not in compliance with legal requirements.

We may need to update or change the Privacy Policy from time to time. If the changes are significant, we will inform you in an appropriate manner and ask you to take note of the changes that have been made. The latest version of the Privacy Policy can always be found on our website
